Bai Hao Yin Zhen or "Silver Needle" Dragon Pearls are a premium handcrafted tea made from high-quality Bai Hao Yin Zhen leaves. The tea leaves are carefully rolled into tight, pearl-like shapes, combining elegance and practicality. This unique form not only makes the tea easier to store and brew but also enhances its delicate aroma and sweet flavor.

Bai Hao Yin Zhen, also known as Silver Needle, is a top-grade variety of white tea and one of the six major types of Chinese tea. It is named for its silver-white fuzz covering the buds, which resemble needles. Known as the "King of White Tea," Baihao Yinzhen originated in Fujian Province, with its primary production areas being Fuding, Zhenghe, Songxi, and Jianyang. Fuding Baihao Yinzhen is the most famous.

The tea is mainly produced in Fujian Province, especially in Fuding City. This area has a subtropical monsoon climate, characterized by warm, humid conditions, ample rainfall, and an average annual temperature of around 18°C, which provides ideal growing conditions for tea trees. The mountainous region of Fuding is frequently covered in mist, and the soil is rich in organic matter and minerals, creating a perfect environment for the growth of Baihao Yinzhen. These exceptional natural conditions contribute to the high quality and unique flavor of this tea.

Actual colors of the tea may vary somewhat from pictured. Purchase the smallest amount to try before purchasing larger amounts.

6. Assist in protecting the liver
The various natural substances contained in white tea have the effect of resisting liver damage, which can help reduce the burden on the liver, protect liver cells, and promote liver health.

7. Assist in improving skin health

9. Assist in relieving stress and relaxing the mood
The fragrance and mild taste of white tea can help relieve daily stress, soothe the nervous system, relax the body and mind, and help improve sleep quality.

10. Assist in protecting oral health
The natural ingredients in white tea have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, which can reduce the growth of bacteria in the mouth and prevent oral problems such as tooth decay and periodontal disease.

Important Note:
While tea offers numerous health benefits, it should not replace medications for treating diseases. It is also important to consume it in moderation, as drinking too much strong tea can cause side effects like insomnia or gastrointestinal discomfort. Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and individuals with insomnia should consult a doctor and drink the tea cautiously based on their specific conditions.

This tea is very smooth and easy drinking but the leaf are very generous! Me and my wife could'nt finish all the infusions because we were overenergized and sweating! Best to keep for days when you need a lot of external energy!

This is a lovely, delicate brew. Peaches, delicately spiced with cinnamon with no astringency. Some teas leave you feeling thirsty, this one refreshes and the flavor opened up beautifully during multiple steeps. The dragon balls are easy to use - just give them a little time to unfurl during brewing. Also, being able to purchase in small quantities makes it perfect for sampling a new-to-you tea.

Smooth, mild flavor. Can be infused up to 3 times. Easy to transport. I can see why Gong Fu is the recommended style of brewing...but not a method I use. Not a fan of gaiwan brewing.
