Jupi Tea, also known as Chenpi Tea, Orange Pu-erh Tea, or Tangerine Pu-erh Tea, is a unique blend of aged Pu-erh tea from Yunnan and the dried peel of Xinhui tangerines, which are famous for their "thousand-year ginseng, hundred-year dried peel" reputation. The tea is crafted using a special process that harmoniously combines the rich, earthy flavors of Pu-erh with the citrusy fragrance of tangerine peel.

In Cantonese, "Jiu" (tangerine) sounds like "Ji" (auspicious), so "Jiu Pu" symbolizes good fortune spreading everywhere. This tea is not only a distinctive health drink but also an excellent choice for both gifting and personal enjoyment.

Jupi Tea retains the signature characteristics of Pu-erh while offering the refreshing, aromatic qualities of fruit teas. It has an alluring tea color and a fragrant, fruity flavor, making it a new favorite among trend-conscious tea drinkers today.

Actual colors of the tea may vary somewhat from pictured. Purchase the smallest amount to try before purchasing larger amounts.

Effects and functions of drinking Pu-erh tea

1. Aid digestion and relieve greasiness
Pu-erh tea contains rich tea polyphenols and caffeine, which can stimulate gastric juice secretion and help digestion. In addition, its degreasing properties make it an ideal tea to pair with greasy food, helping to relieve stomach discomfort.

2. Assist in reducing fat and losing weight
The active ingredients in Pu-erh tea can promote fat metabolism. Long-term drinking has a certain effect on lowering cholesterol and triglycerides in the body, so it is favored by many people who want to lose weight.

3. Assist in lowering blood sugar and blood lipids
The tea polysaccharides and fermentation products in Pu-erh tea have a certain effect on regulating blood sugar and lowering blood lipids. It is especially suitable for diabetic patients and people with high blood lipids to drink in moderation.

4. Assist in anti-oxidation and anti-aging
Pu-erh tea contains rich antioxidants, such as tea polyphenols, vitamin C, etc., which can effectively remove free radicals, delay aging, and improve immunity.

5. Assist in antibacterial and anti-inflammatory
The fermentation process of Pu-erh tea produces a large number of beneficial microorganisms. These substances have a certain inhibitory effect on gastrointestinal bacteria, which helps to improve gastrointestinal health and relieve mild inflammation.

6. Helps refresh the mind
The caffeine in Pu-erh tea can stimulate the central nervous system, help improve concentration and relieve fatigue, but the stimulation to the nerves is relatively mild and is not likely to cause palpitations.

7. Helps maintain health and nourish the stomach
Fermented Pu-erh tea is warm in nature, less irritating, and does not hurt the stomach. Moderate drinking has a protective effect on the stomach, especially ripe Pu-erh, which is more suitable for people with weak stomachs.

Important Note:
While tea offers numerous health benefits, it should not replace medications for treating diseases. It is also important to consume it in moderation, as drinking too much strong tea can cause side effects like insomnia or gastrointestinal discomfort. Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and individuals with insomnia should consult a doctor and drink the tea cautiously based on their specific conditions.

Best tea I've ever had. Mind you, I've only just starting diving into the world of puer tea so my view is quite limited as I haven't tried too many kinds. However this is my favorite so far!

I really like its mild taste and soft aroma

I quote "cheap" in the title because while it's reflected in the price, it's not in the tea itself. I have some pu-erh of a much higher price that doesn't match this as well as some of a cheaper price that tastes nearly like dirt .. and I don't mean the ripe pu-erh taste but, dirt. I first tried only the tea and could not taste any citrus. Since then I've been crushing up the whole stuffed fruit and mixing it together. It doesn't make the citrus strong by any means but it is noticeable and adds that "special something" to the tea. This tea is pretty much what I'd expect from a ripe pu-erh but for some reason it pulls me back more than any other tea I've got. From short, diluted steeps to long, strong steeps it never disappoints. It does have that classic ripe taste as mentioned. I'm almost afraid to describe it as I'm not always the best at phrasing things so might scare off new folks but it's somewhat musty..? For those new to this sort of tea, if you've ever left cardboard boxes sitting around in a damp basement you'll know the smell. The taste is similar but in a GOOD way. Just like some folks can appreciate the taste of blue cheese or certain fungi. Ripe pu-erh is a unique thing in the tea world but I'm glad I tried it and now I'm hooked. I can say my wife typically drinks nothing but cheap flavored greens/blacks from somewhere else. Cherry this, apple that, so on. Not that they're bad but they have to be flavored and then loaded up with sugar. She always tries my new teas though. I was surprised one day after trying this she decided to sit through a whole session with me. So it worked out for someone that won't even drink plain black or green tea, that should tell you something. This is the tea I recommend when people ask for a good first-time pu-erh. Try it out. Unless you don't like pu-erh, you'll probably enjoy this. From as little as 5g per 100ml steeped at 5 seconds to 20g per 150ml water (accidentally) steeped for 30 minutes, this comes out great no matter what.

Tasted nice, I liked the tea, not very strong citrus flavor, next time would try adding a larger piece of the fruit.

Rinsed twice and did a cold brew with a bit of the peel in. Turned out quite nice. Sweet citrus smell and nice earthy puer.
