Yunnan Qizi Bing Tea is a special type of Pu-erh tea, categorized as a "cake tea." The name "Qizi" refers to the fact that each cake is typically made up of seven smaller tea cakes, arranged to form a round shape. Traditionally, these cakes are used for aging and collection.

The primary production areas of Qizi Bing Tea include Menghai, Yiwu, and Mengku, with teas from these regions being particularly well-known.

After a long fermentation process, ripe Pu-erh tea releases unique flavors such as aged aroma, date, and woody notes. The taste is typically smoother and richer, with a deep red or dark brown liquor. It has a mild flavor with a strong, sweet fragrance.

Effects and functions of drinking Pu-erh tea

1. Aid digestion and relieve greasiness

Good Cha Qi. Not an overwhelming shu in terms of complexity. Coffee, toffee and fruity notes with some camphor. I was expecting a lot more for a 1996 cake.

I like the earthly aroma and the 'cha qi' flavour lingering in your mouth after 3rd boil too. Very well aged ripe Puer. Definitely going to try the 1990's brick version now.

I love that Shu, its sweet, it has all the plesant notes that makes me relaxed, for me there are notes of smoked plum, cinnamon, cacao. Its taste changes in mouth from something intense to subtle at the end. The tea having that "i want more and more" factor. The smell is sweet with some umami elements and the taste deffinietly follows it. When im drinking it, it has some similar notes to raw puerhs, yet they are not dominant, its more as an impression than main note:) The cake is very loosy so tea tends to fall off the cake, yet it does not change its taste which is awesome :) Perfect tea for autumn and winter days for sure!

Заказал пробник 25гр. Доставка в Сочи 3 недели. Опишу чай который был в пакете. Приготовление: вода 100гр., 9гр. на 200мл. воды, промыв, 10сек,20сек,30сек....После 5го пролива слабеет цвет и насыщенность.Цвет блина заметно темней чем на картинке, сильно спресован. Вкус: насыщенный, здесь можно найти все-больше орех, торф, щелочь, какая-то очень слабая сладко-вяжущая горечь, древесная кора, (на удивление, все-таки 1996г. если в пакете был именно он) все-же слышен легкий привкус ферментации 3-х,4-х летнего пуэра. Отсутствует копченость,всякий дым, грубая терпкость. Лишний раз убеждаюсь, что старые пуэры при заварке ложить надо на 5-7гр. больше, очень хочеться усилить вкус! Цвет 3-4пролив уходит в нефть как V93Менхай, потом почти до 9 ровный красивый стандарт. Запах: отвар перепонок грецкого ореха, дубовый лес осенью, сырая нагретая солнцем пашня...насыщенный, резко слабеет и меняется к 6-7 проливу. Ни какао ни специй, как в описании, я не услышал! Послевкусие: легкая долго не проходящая вяжущая сладость. Самочувствие: сильных изменений( тем более пьянящих, сильно тонизирующих) не почувствовал, потянуло что-то перекусить?
