This level of Tie Guan Yin is the highest grade. Harvested during the spring and autumn seasons, it is picked during a brief two-day window when the conditions are perfect. Expertly handcrafted by experienced masters, the tea undergoes meticulous processing to achieve a high level of fragrance and the rich, distinctive Tie Guan Yin flavor. As a result, it is rated AAA grade.

This tea is made from tender young leaves of uniform tea trees, hand-rolled into a distinctive jade green shape. When brewed, the tea presents a jade green color with a delicate floral aroma. The taste lingers in the mouth and throat, leaving a lasting impression.

We recommend ordering other, lower-grade Tie Guan Yin teas first. By tasting them alongside our premium "AAA" grade, you’ll be able to experience the difference in quality more clearly.

Actual colors of the tea may vary somewhat from pictured. Purchase the smallest amount to try before purchasing larger amounts.

Effects and functions of drinking Tieguanyin tea

1. Assist in refreshing the mind
Tie Guan Yin contains caffeine and other compounds that stimulate the central nervous system. This can help improve focus, mental clarity, and alertness, while also reducing fatigue.

2. Assist in reducing fat and losing weight
The tea's polyphenols and other substances can promote fat metabolism and reduce fat accumulation in the body. This makes it helpful for weight management and preventing high cholesterol levels.

3. Assist in anti-oxidation
Tie Guan Yin is rich in polyphenols, which have strong antioxidant properties. These compounds help neutralize free radicals, reduce oxidative damage to cells, and may slow down the aging process while helping to prevent various chronic diseases.

4. Assist in regulating blood sugar
Tie Guan Yin tea may assist in maintaining stable blood sugar levels, offering potential benefits for blood sugar control.

5. Assist in cardiovascular protection
This tea can help lower cholesterol, improve vascular elasticity, and contribute to overall cardiovascular protection.

Important Note:
While Tie Guan Yin tea offers numerous health benefits, it should not replace medications for treating diseases. It is also important to consume it in moderation, as drinking too much strong tea can cause side effects like insomnia or gastrointestinal discomfort. Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and individuals with insomnia should consult a doctor and drink the tea cautiously based on their specific conditions.

Excellent tea!!

I've bought multiple teas from YS before and they've always been great but I think the batch of TGY I got was not great. There was little to no aroma (dry leaf) which I felt was a bit odd but from past experience of other YS teas I paid it no mind (since they usually taste amazing). After steeping still very little aroma (wet leaf) which I found odd and the leaves themselves were extremely dark green. I assumed maybe this was just different method or picking or something but what gave it away for me was the taste of the liquor; really underwhelming and bland. Barely any floral notes and tending more to dark green vegetal. Quite disappointed to be honest but luckily I only bought a small batch.

e Fuding Bai Mu Dan is one of the best I’ve tasted. Fresh and highly aromatic. Beautiful whole leaves which produce a bright yellow infusion with a delicious flavor combining apricots and white peaches. Great finish and persistence. A high quality tea which I highly recommend.

Wonderful sweet citrus floral tea, creamy and smooth texture. This is a great tea for friends because it is very easy to drink and not overpowering. Yet still has a deep aroma and taste that you can enjoy for unusually more steeps than you would expect.
