Fuding "Shou Mei Dragon Balls" White Tea

Shou Mei Dragon Balls is a distinctive type of white tea, typically belonging to the Shou Mei category. Shou Mei itself is made from more mature tea leaves, usually consisting of one bud and two or three leaves. The processing is simple but preserves the fresh aroma and taste of white tea. Shou Mei Dragon Balls, however, is processed into small, bead-like shapes, resembling tiny pearls.

These small "dragon pearls" are hand-rolled Shou Mei white tea from Fuding, Fujian. Each pearl weighs about 5.5 grams (+/- 0.5 grams), making it perfect for 1 or 2 people to enjoy. The single-serving packaging is very convenient—just tear open the package and brew!

Shou Mei is considered a fourth-grade white tea from Fuding, and it shares some similarities with Bai Mu Dan (White Peony) and Gong Mei, with common characteristics in flavor and aroma.
