Among the classic recipes created by Menghai Tea Factory in 1975, 7592 is one of the most well-known traditional products, alongside the more familiar 7542 and 7572. The inclusion of aged tea stems gives it a unique character. The liquor has a bright red color, with a rich aged aroma and a smooth, mildly sweet taste. The tea stems contribute to its distinctive aged fragrance and mellow flavor.

Dayi 7592 is a classic in the world of Pu-erh tea, specifically a type of ripe Pu-erh, produced by the Yunnan Dayi Tea Factory. It is one of the most well-known brands of ripe Pu-erh, loved by tea enthusiasts for its excellent aging potential and rich, smooth flavor.

Dayi 7592 is made from high-quality leaves of the Yunnan large-leaf variety, carefully processed with a strict production method. This has a wonderful flavor. I was introduced to this as a first time Pu-erh drinker and was hooked. The flavor is robust but sweet. There is something soft about the manner in which the tastes seep into your tongue. I would highly recommend this cake to anyone, but especially folks who are new to pu-erh, for this gives a lot of bang for buck. The stem to leaf ratio is a little unusual, and because there are more stems/sticks in this cake, it doesn'r gave the same appeal that some of the leafier recipes have when brewing. However, due to the flavor that is derived from this recipe, this is nothing to gripe about. Especially if that's how this recipe is supposed to be made to accomplish that sort of flavor profile. Excellent cake, kudos to the folks who harvested and processed these cakes. Well done.

Has a very evident Puerh flavor and so is certainly full bodied. This is a good intro tea to ripe Puerh. Leaves are big, and the cake is a little hard to break apart. I don't like that there's a lot of sticks, but since the tea is full of flavor I'm okay with it. I will be buying this one regularly.

I have spent the last several years enjoying various tea factories offers of tea, especially shou. Most , if not all, i have found something i enjoy in each and every one. This particular shou, 2016 Menghai 7592 really intrigues me with a mature taste of some of my older shouts and yet an excellent sweet bark, and aged leather aroma and character. It made me think of the Bob Dylan tune 'Spanish Boots of Spanish Leather'. I would ask my true love to send me from across the sea a 'Shou From The Yunnan Mountains'. I am very curious to see how this tea will taste in 3-5 years. If one judges by history, chances are that it may become a classic, as some of the earlier versions have done just that.
