The name "CNNP 7741 Pu-erh Tea" has special significance in its numbers. The first two digits, "77," represent the blending plan from 1977. The third digit, "4," indicates the grade of the tea leaves used, which is grade 4. The last digit, "1," refers to the factory number, with the Kunming Tea Factory (CNNP) being numbered as 1.

This tea offers a floral aroma upon entry, with a sweet and soft tea liquor. The fragrance blends seamlessly with the tea, and the sweetness leans towards a honey-like profile. From the second infusion onwards, a mild astringency can be felt, but it is less pronounced than in Dayi 7542. There is a slight bitterness at the bottom, though it doesn't affect the overall taste.
