soft tea with bright flavors. Beautiful leaves with fresh fragrant

I wanted to love this tea due to the high reviews, but I have to admit the flavor is a bit too light for my liking, even if you add a lot of leaves and steep it longer. The flavor itself is quite nice, I would say it has a smokey barbecue forward flavor, liked smoked hickory wood. It's quite savory and earthy, but its also good with a hint of added sugar to play into the barbecue sauce vibe. It's just a little too subtle and light of a flavor for me so I'm giving it 4 stars.

Good value for money. Cheaper than the Silver Strands, and even if a bit less sweet it still a great everyday tea. 88C 5g for 100ml 20s infusion. Grassy sweet but not overpowering, easy to drink, low astringency. 6+ infusions
