Clean, floral and lovely sweetness that lingers. This is one of my favorites of all time. You can easily resteep 10 times if you are doing quick infusions. |

Originally, as I was beginning to taste this, I wasn't very sold on the taste of the tea, especially with the roast notes. However, as I drank it and the flavor began to evolve, I started to appreciate the complex and delicate flavor. I really like the delicate yet viscous mouthfeel. I eventually came around on the roast flavor, and it mingled very well with the floral flavor, which especially reminded me of sunflower seeds. Additionally, the sweetness taste changed throughout each infusion. Additionally, I am very new to quality tea, and this tea gave me my first instance of experiencing "tea drunkenness". Very good tea, but I will certainly only drink this for special occasions. |

absolutely love this tea! unique roasted aroma which is exactly the kind of roasted note I was looking for (teas like cheap hojicha are not what I was looking for, hahah) this is different, but so it the price! well worth it though. |

Really interesting aroma that's hard to describe. I found the taste slightly bitter in a good way, but also was very creamy and had a complex and sorta sweet taste. Never had a tea like this and I think good Duck Shit is something every tea enthusiast should try. I brewed it at 195F for 15 seconds to start with in a Gaiwan. Would recommend! |

Perhaps, it's the high expectations due to the good reviews, but this one is not my cup of tea. I enjoy the fruity flavour and there is a nice balance of sweetness, bitterness and astringency, as well as a long-lasting aftertaste, but for me it just doesn't hit the spot. I'd say it lacks character and it doesn't inspire the kind of mystery of wanting to discover more of it. I brewed some infusions a bit longer than usual to see if I was missing something, because of the timing: taste was certainly stronger but still not convincing. It lasts for many infusions though. |
