Exquisite appearance but in the cup subtle to a fault with far less depth and complexity of flavor than the Pure Gold Jin Jun Mei of Tong Mu Guan Village.

My tea journey began only 6 months ago. I've heard a lot about Jin Jun Mei and wanted to give it a try. This is my first one and it's not as sweet as i expected. I have many more to try but maybe i let myself go by the hype i got by people who have tried the higher quality ones.

This tea is like a dessert. It’s gets 7-10 good gong fu cha steepings. Also very forgiving to brew, hard to mess up. A good tea to introduce sceptical friends in to there own tea journey. Will order soon again.

I have had jin jun mei from several different venders and this was the worst one out of the ones i have tried. While the aroma isn't too bad the actual taste of the tea is very weak and ended up with the taste falling short when actually tasting it and disappearing after the 2nd pot even during gongfu style brewing.
