I bought mostly to have a daily drinking wuyi area tea. It serves it's purpose. I recommend rinsing on the first steep as the initial roasty flavor is very overpowering at first. Also will benefit from some time to age to lose some of the roast. Sweet spices and stone fruits, with some rock flavor, does not last very many steeps, 5 max. |

Great shipping and service . I find this tea a bit weak on flavor. First 2 infusions are pretty good but after that pretty weak for my taste. For the price it can be an almost daily tea, and for that it’s good. |

The 2021 harvest of this tea is pretty much a straight-up light roast rou gui. Disappoint for those of us who are looking for the harder-and-harder-to-find classic/traditional rock oolongs with heavier roast and oxidation. It's not a bad tea, but it's not the same style as previous years' versions. |

Acceptable, but does not taste as strongly of cinnamon as the Wild Tree Purple Sweet Ya Bao White Tea does! |

I got this summer 2020 and stored away until now because the roast taste was too prominent when I first got it. Now it's smooth with notes of cannabis, rum, and lychee! Very nice Rou Gui in the budget range! |
