Great dragon well!

Excellent price to quality ratio here. The market for Longjing is stiff, it's hard to find a screaming deal, but this is very competitively priced for what it is. I enjoy brewing this in a glass gaiwan. 5 to 7 grams of leaf in a 150mL gaiwan returns 3-5 cups of delicious soup every time. I brew between 160 to 172*F, anywhere from 30 seconds to 180 seconds. Sometimes I increase the temperature and time, other times I decrease the temperature but increase the time. This is a flexible tea, experiment and find what works for you. It has a sweet aroma with a distinctly powerful taste to it. Good amount of hairs in the cup. Minimal oil slicks. Slight bitterness, but it's easy to manage using cooler temperatures when brewing. The brewed leaves hold their composure well. Aftertaste is clean with a sweet sensation that lingers on the palate. Very nice overall.

It is simply a wonderful tea. It is oh so slightly sweet. There is something nutty there, and the quietest note is a pleasant and familiar green tea vegetative one with possibly the faintest hint of spinach. Everyone seems to enjoy more than one brewing. I find this so hard to believe I nearly doubt the human nature of the review. I brew the first with 5g at about 80C for about 2-3 minutes. If I am a little to stingy on the tea it is to weak. Subsequent infusions offer something green but tasting mostly of water, nothing. The imperial is a lot more expensive, but it is about 15% better flavor, but only one infusion as well. A treat for 2 oe 3 times a day. I stick to Fancy for my morning kick of caffeine, fancy is only 10% less flavorful than Premium. I think 2022 Dragon Well is more flavorful than 2021.
