Autumn 2020. Dry leaves smell like real wet flowers – this is the most intensive floral aroma I have ever encountered in a tea. The taste is also floral, a bit like fresh grass. Light bitterness that lacks sharpness most teas have. I was surprised how different this is from ‘green’ oolongs from Taiwan. Not exactly in my taste, but definitely has its own character. |

I love this tea's exquisite and persistent floral fragrance. The brewed leaves are beautiful emerald green. The mouthfeel is buttery and smooth, and the Tie Guan Yin piney tang is subtle, not overpowering. Later steeps have a delicate woodsy feel on the tongue. |

Love at first sip with this tea. It smells amazing too, so fresh tasting. I've primarily been drinking Japanese teas and was looking for something that could capture that same freshness but without the umami bite that Japanese teas tend to bring. This was the perfect tea for that. So happy the introduction to oolong sampler pack included this! |
