Very nice - a dark chocolatey taste, not at all sweet, and doesn't feel dry in the mouth. One can get a lot of steeps from it, too. Beautiful pale amber liquor. Not just a good value - a quality tea regardless of price point. |

This one is indeed chocolaty and has the same basic flavor profile that one can expect from a Laoshan Black, but it's a bit lighter on the chocolate and roasty notes than the ones I've had before. Those can be overwhelming if you try to drink it casually, which in my opinion makes this one better, at least for relaxed drinking while doing other things and not just sampling tea, yes the flavour is "weaker" then some, but it also gives room for the other notes of longan and honey to appear, it's sweet and think and even dark cherries and some floral taste which might normally be unwanted in black tea, but fits right in here because it's feels like it's part of the rest and is dampened by the dryness of the chocolate aroma. It's a really great tea, and for such a price too! |

This one has quickly become one of my black tea favourites. The liqour had an surprisingly yellow/gold color. I really like the burnt/roasted dark chocolate taste to it. The tea is warming, uplifting and energizing. An excellent tea for the morning. You get a good tea for a good price. |

I enjoy this tea all year. In the spring/summer months I like it cold steeped in the fridge. So refreshing! Nice flavor with a hint of charcoal. Time to order more. :) |
