A fantastic whit tea. A fairly lose pressing. Taste of jasmine some red fruit nots and raisin. Apart from a nice fresh taste the pressing makes that it's a good one to age. Total recommendation.

This cake is beautiful, the buds are covered with down, and it’s easy to pull out the buds from the cake. The brewed tea is a very pale, golden color, with aromas of flowers, vanilla and hay. It’s lightly sweet, but also has a bit of smokiness and astringency that adds complexity and a nice finish. Very engaging and enjoyable tea.

This is absolutely delicious! I'd love to know how this is going to taste in a few years, but I'll have to order another cake (or 3) to find out. The one we have now won't last, that's for sure! Also curious why this just has a plain white wrapper?

High fragrant power, lasting taste even with the second hot water on. Fresh look of the leaves. Easy drink plenty of mouth and nose sensations

This tea is easily in the running for the best value tea on YS. Huge amount of complexity in a very smooth, dessert like package. Sweet like cane sugar but not overpoweringly so, vanilla, light floral notes, cornbread, hay, spongecake. Some hints of sourness and astringency that you'd get in a young sheng. It doesn't last particularly long and there's a little too much astringency and light bitterness for my taste in a silver needle but I'd guess this would age very nicely. The only real issue I have with this tea is how much better and punchy the early few steepings are in comparison to the rest, and the lingering astringency on the latter. Can't complain for the price though, a perfect tea for guests too.
