This is a lovely tea, which appears to have been processed exceptionally well. The leaves are intact, uniformly processed, and undamaged after the fact, which must have taken some doing. They are striking when steeped in a glass vessel, especially if it's tall and allows them to drift vertically. The tea soup is slightly viscous; the flavour is light, and sweet vegetal; and it has a lovely cooling effect. I don't expect this to be my go to green tea, but it may be my go to for impressing people when green tea is the best choice, and I'm sure I'll want to keep a supply on hand. |

I've moved aggressively towards sheng puerh and black teas as my types of preference over several years and haven't kept any green tea stocked at home for years. I wanted a green for change up and hot summer purposes and remembered enjoying this type in the distant past. I got this in and tried it and it's an easy decision. I will keep this stocked as my green tea of preference. Delicious and so pleasing to see the dry leaf. |

This is my favorite green tea. Brewed at 165* it's very vegetal and refreshing. |
