I got this as a normal black tea. If you came into the world of Chinese tea recently, don't expect something wild. After a few tries, however, I've come to appreciate the straight-and-true taste and texture of this tea. Lovely malt, without being overbearing. Perfect when you're not looking for anything floral. Start infusing at 15s!

I buy the spring tea each year. This year slightly under last years vintage, but a reliable full flavoured tea left to infuse with deep colour infusion is best in my opinion. A great everyday tea to enjoy a full pot for me.

This tea goes for many many infusions. Woodsy, malty and spicy. From all the black teas I've had at Yunnan Sourcing, this one has the strongest cha qi. It's like the Mike Tyson of black teas, after the 6th or 7th infusion you feel just so full of energy and focus ready to K.O. whatever is at your to do list that day..
