Absolutely delicious, just what I was hoping for.

Not much of a tea critic here, but this one is clean and bright with a nice taste that's not super strong.

Love at first sip, this one. I favour strongly flavoured teas and love the toasted aroma of oolings. This has all of that and a dry but rounded richness. I agree with another reviewer that it could rival coffee in its boldness. Lots of great character and an exciting pungency. Hint of dry spice at the back of the throat. I steeped it perhaps to long for some tastes (30s, then 45s) and I can see it easily being enjoyable with a less aggressive steeping schedule.

warm dry leaves smell like a very soft campfire, a light yet comforting smell. Light golden orange/amber liqueur color. Moderately light first steep, but it’s a perfect blend of green and black, right in the middle. No smoke at all in the taste of the tea. Some lingering sweetness in the back of the mouth.

quite the interesting tea. I wasn’t expecting the taste that I got, but it was quite interesting, and something that so think has the power to convert my coffee drinking friends.
