I read many reviews for this and this has become my most favorite roasted oolong! The taste was deep and roasted, a little chocolatey but also nutty. It balances so well with any type of sweets. It has a mellow aroma to it and can last about 5-6 steeps for me. (I use one packet and boiling water. I'm still adjusting ratio of water and steeping to find which one is best.) I'll definitely be reordering more of this, but who knew it'd be so delicious!

I have bought this tea twice now. It has easily become one of my favorites. The reviews, before mine, are pretty spot on. To me, it smelled and tasted mostly like chocolate, with a hint of vanilla, and it lasted many steeps. I lost count. Every person experiences things differently. So if you’re a tea enthusiast, I’d recommend trying this tea.

Mild oolong, malty taste, bittermellon fruit was not bitter like i expected. Delicious!

I am a big fan of bitter melon in Chinese cooking. This has nothing of that flavor. This tea yields a single serving of a rounded yet strong black tea with earthy tones and no bitterness. It has a malty fullness and tastes like vanilla. This may be my daily drinker. My only regret is that I did not buy more.

What a wonderful creation! This 2017 TGY and the bittermelon go hand in hand in a marvelous symphony as if they have found each other and never wanna let go. I have had about 10 incremental steeps and they're still dancing! I, eventually gave up to focus my attention to other aspects in my life but I felt like this tea will keep on giving for a while, I will return to it the next morning!
