This is a well-balanced early season green. Brew it with water that isn't too hot for best results. Allow boiling water to cool a minute or two. I use 4 to 5 grams of tea in a large gaiwan when I'm sharing with others. Other times, when drinking alone, I put that approximate amount of tea leaves into a tall glass and just add hot (not boiling) water. Sip directly from the glass. Add more water when it reaches about 1/3 full. Delicious. Recommended

I got this tea as a sample and find it a good but a little out of Ballance tea. The first infusion was very bitter like dark chocolate. The second was neither here nor there and the there was what I would consider pleasant drinkable. Whit lovely high notes of hay and some distend hazelnut. The finish went a bit in the direction of wet wood. From this point on the taste started to be a bit more consistent. So is it a good tea? Well yes and no. The price is extremely sharp on this one and you can't expect a high-end tea for this price. So although I personally would not immediately go out of my way to buy this one, if I would be given this tea in a bar or at a friend I also would not be offended. If you're looking for a reasonably run-of-the-mill everyday drinker then by all means get this tea. After all, it's not a bad tea.
