To get it to the strength I'm accustomed to, I had to at least double the amount of leaf (10g+ for 150ml of water) the first wash, I let the leaves sit in 195 degree F water for a timed three minutes before starting to brew it. It has a nice smooth taste once I finally get it going but I'm not sure it's worth the work. Not good but not bad either exactly.

Extra tea/time used as suggested. Clean, clear smell and taste of dates, caramel ...toffee and minerals. I find this tea quite relaxing and invigorating at the same time. This is lovely. Not as chocolately as the Jinggu Da Qing Village Lao Cha Tou Ripe Pu-erh Tea. But brews long and well.

For the excellent price and the longevity of the compressed nuts, thus tea is a new favorite for me! It's loamy and you can really get the anthocynanin grape skin flavor coming through. I grew up in the rainy woods of East Texas and this tea reminds me of that smell; loamy, fresh rain, forests with plum tree nearby. Gorgeous and goes for many infusions.
