Really enjoyed this one. Seems impossible to over brew and actually ended up throwing the finished tea on boil for a bit and tried it as recommended with butter, very warming and enjoyable experience! Before trying this I didn’t have much experience with white tea, and it really wasn’t my favorite. This tea completely changed that for me. Really looking forward to trying more white tea of this style. Also, apologize for my laziness. Really need to start reviewing more of these great teas. |

One year tea, 3 years medicine, 7 years treasure. This one is a treasure. If you have like drinking Shou mei or Gong Mei white tea cakes then you will love this tea. It will certainly have the type of flavors and tastes that you would expect it to have, but the aging truly imparts something special. It really gives so much more depth to the tea. It is hard to put into words. The “aged white tea taste” is something unique that must be experienced to understand. Sipping this, I feel i understand the meaning of the Chinese saying “yi nian cha, San nian yao, Qi nian bao”. |

一年茶,三年药,七年宝,说的就是白茶,温和甜滑,每天都想喝的茶,饭后来一泡,舒服。 |

Dry nose: chocolate, caramel, nuts, malt, toasted raisin bread Wet nose: raisins, malt, coffee, cinnamon Brews a nice apple juice color with a medium, clean, almost minty texture. For me, tastes of raisin bread, baked apple, and with a lot of light brown sugar sweetness. Additional notes of apples, figs, apple oatmeal with raisins and cinnamon in the dry cup. I did not get any veggie notes. Good body chi with a slightly fuzzy brain. Brewed 9.3g in a 150 gaiwan, 185F. |
