As a loyal consumer, Kunming Tea Factory's 1990 Aged Ripe Pu-erh is my go-to for a rich and authentic tea experience. Aged for 26 years, this tea's unique 9016 recipe unfolds slowly, offering a robust, pungent taste. Brewing with hot water and a clay teapot accentuates its aged notes, creating a delightful journey with each sip. The 10 and 25-gram sample portions make it easy to enjoy this rare gem, making it a staple in my tea collection. In a world of imitations, this tea remains a genuine and cherished choice for tea enthusiasts like me. |

One of my many samples. All of the above , Nice , thick , with a "aged" but not musty taste. Aged wood / slight camphor, calming feeling and it makes me want to drink more and more of it. |

I love this tea because it reminds me of beets! It has a sweet and vegetal, but very earthy flavour. It's rich and dark, like to a good shou should be. It feels grounding, like the smell of roots. |

Very good experience. Almost exactly what I look for in a well-aged pu erh. The taste and smell carry some of the mountain, lacking only the suggestion of old books and afternoons spent discussing life, the universe, and everything. Good quality for the price, up to 6 or 8 paos per pot (p3) and cooks up very dark. NOT a tea to be drunk in a hurry... Gosh, wait, no, terrible tea, don't buy it... I'll take it off your hands for you.... |
