Reviewing at 2nd 15s infusion, 5g in 100mL gaiwan, 205F. Aroma: dark chocolate, almonds, oats, tree bark Body: medium thickness, dry/tannic Taste: light, walk in the woods...like tree bark and dry autumn leaves, picking up faintly some raisin at the 5th 30s steeping Steepings: 10 Effect: slightly calming, feeling relaxed but not sleepy Overall: the aromas shine with this tea if you're like me and prefer earthy, less-sweet/fruity flavors...recommend as a go-to daily

Just a really great thick deep soup that serves as an excellent example of why Menghai ripe is so popular. Also a very flexible tea showing different aspects of the tea at different tea brewing parameters. Pretty difficult to mess up.
