What an incredible smooth and full flavored tea. This tea really had such an incredible mouthfeel with white peach being the dominant flavor throughout the infusions. Little floral notes as well. Excellent finish that really stuck with your palate. Enjoy slowly and thoroughly. It be hard not to! Above average infuse-ability.

The first tea that I tried from my first purchase with Yunnan. I dove straight in and brewed in my new Taiwan. I have much to learn on the process but I need not worry about the tea. Flavour was excellent, a little smoky, but just as good as I was expecting.

A wonderful Dan Cong which doesn’t disappoint. There is a lovely toasted aroma to the dry leaves and an extraordinary fruitiness in the wet leaf. The mouthfeel is soft, creamy, and coating with accompanying flavors of butter and cherry, with a soft mineral tang. This tea can go several infusions (typically up to 9 with an extended 10th infusion), leaving a sweet toasted smell inside of the cup. The finish leaves a fruity tang and a soft dryness in the mouth with a lively cha qi. Overall, an excellent tea.

i got this tea in an oolong tea club box and it was sadly my least favorite. i already know i am not that into duck shit tea (i do love dan congs but tend to favor the darker and fruitier ones over the lighter ones). the leaves were small and broken, not long and beautifully twisted like other dan congs (small broken leaves are frustrating in the taiwan). it did have a beautiful aroma of seafoam, spring lakes, honied pond lilies, and a touch of wild mint- very strong water energy. i brewed at low temperatures of 185 farenheight. steeps came out a touch bitter and not as full flavored as i wanted. also doesn’t hold for many steeps but has strong cha qi
