I had heard of this tea due to its unique name but had never had the desire to try it until I picked some up during a sale. My first cup was astonishing - I immediately regretted not having tried this sooner. Very smooth drinking with low astringency and a delicate naturally sweet flavor through half a dozen infusions. Be sure to brew in an oolong or very clean gaiwan as the flavor is so light that it can and will pick up notes from previous teas. |

I’m new to tea so my palate is still in need of development, but this is the first one that made me say “wow!” Even my unsophisticated taster picked up distinct wood, nut, honey and floral notes. No bitterness and low astringency. There are so many different recommendations for how to brew this gonfu, so I’m experimenting with different parameters. So far the best I’ve tried is 7g/100ml with water just off the boil, starting with less than 10 seconds. I’m also Impressed with everything about Yunnan Sourcing. |

I have been ordering teas from yunnan sourcing for a while now and I’ve never had a reaction like this. This tea is so fragrant and slightly sweet. My usual favorite is jasmine pearls and this one rivals the jasmine tea in fragrance. I should have ordered a bigger bag. Yum! |

I have to say that is originally bought this out of curiosity. The 25 gr were fine in no time and no promptly bought 250 gr!! I love the taste and the fact that I can get at least 7 brews. |

It was one of the best tasting Oolong teas I have tried. So flavorful and the aroma is amazing. |
