I really regret ordering only 25 grams of this... The leaves really are tender delicious to eat. Superb tea, next time I'll order 250g.

Nice tea

Brewing 3 grams in a 150 ml houhin rather than in a glass, 185 F water. Very light yellow-green tea liquid. Wonderful chestnut fragrance, nutty, sweet flavor in the first cup. Slight astringency on the finish. There's an interesting salinity in the finish of the second cup. Not seaweedy-umami like Japanese sencha but a definite saltiness on the tip of my tongue. Interesting lingering mouthfeel after swallowing, leaves a sensation somewhat similar to Sichuan peppercorns, a kind of delicious numbness.

This is an excellent Long jing tea. I can't praise this tea enough. I'm fond of eating the leaves after steeping too. If you have any doubts about whether you should order this tea, take the plunge. You'll have no regrets, unless you just don't care for green teas.

This is truly delightful tea. The aroma of the dry leaf is slightly green, and more aggressively nutty. Steeping 5g in a Kamjove teapot with 185ºF water, the aroma is cooked vegetal. Initial taste is a very pleasant, lighter green than most green teas I have had, and followed by roasted nut. It fills the mouth, and finishes in the upper throat, creamy, and lubricating. It is cooling, refreshing, and lovely!
