Very good tea, you can taste a difference between Imperial Pure Gold and Black Gold Bi Luo Chun. Black Gold Bi Luo Chun is among my favorites, so I have decided to try this one as well (Pure Bud is also on it's way). People mention the notes of sweet potato, but in this case I wouldn't be able to drink this, as I am not a fan of sweet potatoes. I think it tastes like butter biscuits with honey. Enjoying every sip. Huge thanks to farmers and suppliers!

The tea is creamy, with honey, milk chocolate and sweet potato notes. In the front, there is almost no bitterness: it is very smooth. However, the aftertaste is dry, earthy, and slightly metallic; reminiscent of young shou pu erh in a bad way. Overall, the brew is pleasant in the front but not particularly complex. Aftertaste is a bit unpleasant.

I have several versions of theBi Luo and it was a toss up between the black gold and the imperial, but the imperial won out for it's really nice clean, malty, chocolaty flavor. My usual morning routine is a Keemun followed by one of the Bi Luo and it is just so satisfying.

I did not know that I could find such aromatic tea.
