Fantastic, complex and balanced tea, creamy, milky, buttery, not too floral, excellent quality, will definitely order next year

I've been using only Tie Guan Yin as the only tea for many years. I bought it from one reputable vendor in another country, and I stocked on Autumn tea with them during my travels. I tested many different varieties of Tie Guan Yin with them, and the best I liked was the variant with leaves carrying stems (they called it "nun-san"). Imperial "AAA" Tie Guan Yin of Anxi Oolong Tea of Fujian had a rather bright fragrance that significantly faded on the second infusion, however, the taste was not as deep as I got used to. I did not notice much sweetness or buttery flavor though some astringency was present in the aftertaste. The physiological effect was also different, I felt it rather refreshing than relaxing as a regular strong tea.

Excellent Tie Guan Yin.

My best guess is I received a bad batch, because what I got tastes and smells like boiled green pepper, no floral notes whatsoever.
