I agree with Ryan, it's hard not to make adult bedroom noises while drinking this tea. It is incredibly aromatic and each layer of flavor is so deep and complex. This is a truly mesmerizing tea and one of the best examples of a Mi Lan Dan Cong you could ever try. This tea has an overtly creamy and floral mouthfeel to it, like coconut milk with orchids and just a pinch of sugarcane stalk hanging out way in the background. I've tasted this subtle combination in some of the other Dan Cong's that Yunnan Sourcing offers, such as the Wu Dong Chou Shi and the Snowflake Da Wu Ye, both of which I would highly recommend if you like this tea. Especially the Snowflake Da Wu Ye, that tea will change your life. Anyways, the aroma of the dry leaf in a warmed cup reminds me of peach cobbler. It's warm and enticing. The first few cups carry a very pungent citrus note that quick subsides into a lingering sweetness that is characteristic of orange blossom honey. The next few cups really carry the intensity and cha qi of this tea. Wow. Pay attention to the middle of this tea, there is a lot happening and in my [fairly limited] experiences with this tea so far, I would say it's safe to keep steep times short even for the 4th 5th and 6th cups. The beauty of the Bai Ye cultivar really comes out in the middle to end of this tea, and I see why it was processed into a Mi Lan. It naturally has a tropical fruitiness that lends itself very well to this style. I get notes of mango and passionfruit that stay in the cup and remain resilient despite 10+ steeps. This tea is finicky to brew, it took me a couple of tries to get it right. You have to wrestle with this tea even into the 7th 8th and 9th cups, but it's worth it in pursuit of the divine aftertaste this tea imparts. The mouthfeel and potency are indescribable - you just have to experience it for yourself. I brewed about 1,500mL of tea across 15+ cups. My first steep was less than 5 seconds @ 89*C / 193*F, my last steep was 30 minutes @ 100*C / 212*F. There was not even the slightest hint of any bitterness whatsoever. If you really take your time with this tea, it won't punish you on the back end.

I can't help but make adult bedroom noises when I sip this tea! Creamy, sweet, elegant high florals, lush 'green', honey sweetness with a returning flavor echo in the aftertaste. The flavor of the tea, the aroma of the gaiwan lid and aroma of the wet leaf transport my mind far away to a lush sunny landscape where concerns and worries drift away.

Wet leaf smells warm, sweet, creamy. Taste is subtle but very warming and full-bodied, seems to get better the longer I brew it. Tastes of honey, mineral, juicy, floral. Very pleasant tea, would definitely buy again.

Nice balance of floral, fruit, honey and woodsy flavors. The medium roast integrates everything and lends some durability. I do 1g /15-20ml and usually go 6-8 steeps from 10s-1min.

Every sip of this tea is enjoyable. To date it is my personal favorite Dancong. When my mother visited we had daily tea sessions where I had her sample teas from the different tea categories. Of all the teas she tried, this was her personal favorite! I highly encourage this tea for those new to the world of tea as well as those that have had their fair share of cups. It lasts many infusions and has a perfect balance of aromas, sweetness, richness and complexity.
