Probably my favorite of all the Dan Chong oolongs it a very sweet and floral tea. On the dry tea I had very fruit heavy note of cranberry. This came thu in the first 2 or 3 infusions. Then I went a bit to hard on the tea so got some bitter. After this, I adjusted to lower temp whit longer infusions and started to get the honey notes for which this tea is named after. I'm looking forward to tackling this tea once more the next time and try to get it just right. From what I gathered now this tea likes to be started off with lower themp water and shot infusions and then just slowly lengthen the steeping time and only after like the 5 or 6 infusion go up in themp and shorten the steeping time again and start building up again. Big recommendation. If your not sure which Dan Chong to take, take this one. Super complex and lots of fun to be had in trying different brewing perimeter to get all the different layers of the tea out and believe me there are a lot of layers to be had here. |

What an incredible drinking experience this Oolong has to offer. It first starts off with the orchid/floral notes on first steep with a slight sweetness. A follow up second steep heads into a citrus and mango flavor. Later steeps go into a honey and mango flavor. Lychee, and peaches are all prevalent in the last of the steeps. This is an incredibly complex and flavorful Oolong. It went many rounds brewing gong fu style. I usually only get 1-2 deviations from initial steeps. This tea always seemed to change and really was remarkable. |

Fair priced Mi Lan Xiang, but far less fragrant than the top grade ones |

I've tried this tea several times due to its special thick, sweet and floral (orchid) aroma. Additionally the color of the tea is my favorite. Quite a good tea. |

This is one of my favorite Dan Cong and the best Mi Alan I have ever had. I usually have a hard time picking out specific tastes in a tea; I usually find each tea to be unique, and am not really reminded of any fro, flower, etc that I often read in other people’s tasting notes. However, this tea really does have a distinct peach smell to the wet leaves, and the flavor is beautiful. It lingers for a long time after drinking. A very aromatic and enjoyable tea |
