Brewed at 70 degrees C, the aroma is like burying your nose in a basket of fresh roasted chestnuts. The tea soup is light coloured but full bodied, buttery, pleasantly vegetal with just a hint of astringency in the aftertaste. The cha qui is nice and uplifting. A great morning cup. |

Very good green tea - my impression is it is slightly more bitter than the Imperial version. Green vegetable broth notes and slight seaweed note |
