It is a simple as well as beautiful design. The size for sessions of one person is ideal, between 80ml and 90ml. It conveys good feelings and the price is tight.

This little gaiwan came as a gift, which was much appreciated. Since I received it with my last order, I had numerous (single) sessions using it instead of any of my other brewing vessels. This little chap is not only a work-horse, but it also brews my tea in style! It is very thin-walled and the lid fits perfectly. Pouring isn't a problem and there aren't any unwanted spills either. This came as a gift, as already mentioned, but I would encourage anybody to purchase or at least get one of them free, just for the fun of having one of these versatile pieces of perfect function and beauty at your fingertips.

The one that has come to me has a very beautiful off-white color, it is a beautiful, delicate and simple piece, it is special to the touch. Its use to test different varieties of tea in a good help, is what I was looking for.
