The tea has a strong herbal/spice flavor that is unique and last for some time in the mouth. It is very throaty, with a milder up-front flavor and a stronger aftertaste. You can push the infusions with a bit more leaf or longer infusion times and it is still reasonable patient when doing it. I bought a tong of this to age mostly because I am just curious how it will transform. It is pleasant to drink now if you like younger flavors in your tea. The up-front taste is more subtle than some other teas, but since it doesn't have much bitterness or unpleasant astringency they are easy to pick out. The aftertaste is quite strong and very unique.

First infusion i thing less than 10 seconds gave me an amazing experience. I thought that sheng can give u nothing but punch in the face either with its overwhelming richness or pungent astringency. This one was different. Rich yes, but not overwhelming, rather like soft pillow that surrounds your face when going to bed in tent during summer trip. Very sweet, i have found that sweetness similar to Heart of the old tree from Mandala Tea, its awesome tasting experience – especialy when u wait and see what happens on your tongue a while after drinking it. For me – pure raisins in carmel. Guess i might give up all the sweets and just drink it. Further infusions brough another dimmensions to the tea, rising the astringency – the longer brewing time, the more punchy it becomes. It smells and tastes wonderfull, so nicely that i made full 1/2 liter cup of tea by mixing half of every infusion i was making (another half i was drinking to taste it) and got it by my bed so i could sip it whenever i wanted (didnt lasted long tho :)). Very nice sheng.

i closed my eyes and when I took a sip i was in a small barn with many sheep. it has a very pleasant sourness that reminds me of quality cheese. much better than the stuff they try to pass off to you as worthy and good on a typical cheese plate do not overbrew. **extremely** sour when left in leaves for too long. made the mistake when i sipped some left over water at the bottom. made a face and kept making it

This tea is a real treasure. A 500g guangdong stored semi-aged cake, with good flavor and cha qi, you can't beat it for the price. The liquor is thick and slightly creamy. It shows a slight astringency, with a herbal and spicy note. It can be pushed for a long session, and it's a tea I would gladly brew in a Yixing all the time. I love it. Grab it while you can
