Jin Guan Yin tea is not a native variety; it is a hybrid between Tie Guan Yin and Huang Jin Gui. Jin Guan Yin is produced by grafting Tie Guan Yin onto the tea tree of Huang Jin Gui. After several years, the tea leaves produced by this grafted tree are known as Jin Guan Yin.
Jin Guan Yin Oolong tea has a sand-green, dark, and solid appearance. Its aroma is rich and long-lasting, while the flavor is smooth, full-bodied, and has a lingering sweetness. The tea's "character" is distinct, with a bright, golden yellow, and clear liquor. The leaves are thick and bright after brewing, making this tea of exceptional quality.
Actual colors of the tea may vary somewhat from pictured. Purchase the smallest amount to try before purchasing larger amounts.
Effects and functions of drinking Jin Guan Yin tea
1. Assist in refreshing the mind
Jin Guan Yin contains caffeine and other compounds that stimulate the central nervous system. This can help improve focus, mental clarity, and alertness, while also reducing fatigue.

The tea's polyphenols and other substances can promote fat metabolism and reduce fat accumulation in the body. This makes it helpful for weight management and preventing high cholesterol levels.

5. Assist in cardiovascular protection
This tea can help lower cholesterol, improve vascular elasticity, and contribute to overall cardiovascular protection.
Important Note:
While Jin Guan Yin tea offers numerous health benefits, it should not replace medications for treating diseases. It is also important to consume it in moderation, as drinking too much strong tea can cause side effects like insomnia or gastrointestinal discomfort. Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and individuals with insomnia should consult a doctor and drink the tea cautiously based on their specific conditions.
